Narcan Certification – Help save a life!

Dear Parents & Gaurdians,

As part of the STEM community challenge program, STEM students are required to plan and develop a solution to a community challenge provided to them by their mentors. Some of the North County STEM juniors are planning a Narcan certification day as part of their community challenge. Narcan is used to temporarily reverse the effects of a heroin overdose. This is especially important in our community due to the increase of heroin overdoses each year. The students are asking that parents, teachers and staff attend the event in order to become certified to both carry and administer the drug.

The certification takes place on Saturday, May 13th from 10:00am – 12:00pm in the gymnasium at North County High School. Please REGISTER by clicking on the following link:
