It is with great enthusiasm that I begin my second year as principal of North County High School. Our students achieved several amazing accomplishments last year. NCHS students won first prize in the national “Siemens: We Can Change the World Challenge” and won multiple state awards through FBLA; the Delta Believer’s Program was chosen as the exemplary volunteer organization in our region and many of our students won prizes in the Linthicum Writing Contest. We are honored to share with you that Chloe Diggs won the prestigious Gates Millennium Scholarship. She is 1 of 1,000 seniors chosen for the Class of 2015 out of an applicant pool of 57,000 students. Qualifications include: strong leadership, community service and academic achievements. The Gates Scholars get full tuition for their undergrad and graduate studies.
